The Hydrus® microstent is designed to treat the high intraocular pressure that occurs in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma because the eye’s fluid path becomes blocked. The scaffolded stent is designed to be inserted into Schlemm’s canal to gently dilate the channel and allow blocked fluid to flow more freely and alleviate high intraocular pressure.
